REMINDERS!

STREET CLOSED FROM DUPLEX TO ROSEWELL

Move vehicles off the street (& driveways if you need access to them!) before 8:30AM on Saturday! Please plan accordingly. There are no in/out privileges. Any vehicles left on the street by 9am will be TOWED!

PLACE GARBAGE/RECYCLE BINS ON THE CURB

Please put your garbage and recycling bins curbside to make it easier to keep the street clean throughout the day.

YOU CAN’T RAIN ON THIS PARADE

The event runs rain or shine! But if it rains, we may have to move to our contingency plans and move some activities around. Be on the lookout for emails announcing these changes.

INFLATABLES (#112 & #202)

The big obstacle course inflatable is back for the big kids, but closer to Rosewell this year! And the bouncy castle continues to be a staple for those <6. Children must be accompanied by a caregiver.

THE BEST THINGS IN LIFE ARE FREE AT #178

No, really, they are!! Come over to #178 and browse through our excellent selection of books, toys, sporting goods, & costumes! Please drop off contributions to #178 by June 9th.

BID BIG AT #77

Did you know the Silent Auction accounts for HALF of our annual budget? The silent auction will be online and go live on Friday, but you can check out the amazing goods & services in person from 4:30PM - 7PM. While you’re checking out the goods, such as gift cards to Australian Boot Company and Miami Fades or gift baskets from Starbucks and Uptown Brie, the kids can try to win jars of candy by guessing how many are in each one!

LAWN GAMES (#202)

Take a break and head to #202 and have some fun playing corn hole, Connect-4, ring toss, and other fun lawn games.

BALLS, STICKS, NETS, AND SWEAT (UPPER AL)

For the little kids and big ones, we have the tried and true pick-up basketball and street hockey, along with the crowd favourite from last year: pickeball! Grab some friends and get playing!

BUT Keep an eye on the time so you don't miss OTHER WAYS TO PLAY!

BEST WAY TO START YOUR DAY - BREAKFAST! (#76)

Breakfast is served at #76 and hosted by Julie & Ian, who are back on the street after a year’s hiatus. Starts at 9:30AM!

BLING UP THE BANNER (#80)

Don't miss out on this annual tradition--pick your colour, grab a paintbrush or your hand, and make your mark on the 27th annual street party banner at #80 from 9:30AM - 10:30AM!

TATTOOS & NAILS (MID-AL)

For the young or the young at heart, search for the white tent to get all glammed up. Get your face or nails painted or add a (temporary) tattoos to your collection. 2PM - 4PM

SCAVENGER HUNT (MEET AT #75)

It's time to get to know the street a bit better! Don't have a team, we'll set you up with one. Prizes and bragging rights up for grabs! Meet at the #75 at 4PM.

STRIKE A POSE (#85)

CHEESE! Get your besties or family together for our pop-up photo booth between 4PM - 5PM. You're making memories, so you might as well mark them with a photo!

THE SWEETEST NEIGHBOURS

Be on the look out for sweets and treats throughout the day including cotton candy (#89), Monster Cookie decorating at #92, an opportunity to win jars of candy at 'Guess How Many' (#77), & potluck desserts in the evening (including FREE ice cream!) at Lower Al.

BOOT SHINE/TOSS! (MID AL)

Australian Boot Company will be on site from 2PM - 4PM to give a FREE shine and clean-up to your Blundstones & RM Williams boots. There will also be a boot toss for the kiddos. And there may be a few more treats in store!

ALBERTUS OLYMPICS AT #110

Head over to the Olympic Village (near the small inflatable) to join the competition or cheer on your favourite little athletes for an Albertus-style Olympics competition! Starts at 10:15AM!

GET CREATIVE! (#75/#77)

Resident crafter Jenny will be running a craft session to make summer scrapbooks at for all the kids at 11AM. Resident gardeners Yee & Matt will be helping make flower pots at 1:30PM. And for those more into STEM, come over at 4PM to get your Lego building on!

Haven't had a chance to get your bike road worthy yet? We've got you covered! Bring your bike for a free tune-up between 10AM - 1PM.

Get to know your neighbours better as you move along the porches of Albertus.

DINNER IS ALWAYS A WINNER (#76)

We're switching it up this year! After a long day, no one wants to make dinner! Caribbean BBQ from Gurzels Gourmet and pizza from Classico Louie’s to the rescue! If you prefer to cook, BYODinner and join us to dine al fresco! Dinner starts at 6:30PM sharp.

ALBERTUS PUB-STYLE TRIVIA NIGHT (#76)

Grab a team or come on your own (and we'll find a team for you) and head to Lower Albertus at 9PM for the 3rd annual trivia night.

KIDS' OUTDOOR MOVIE NIGHT! (#89)

We will cap off the night with an outdoor movie just for the kids. We'll supply the popcorn, but it's BYOB (non-alcoholic, obviously!). 8:30PM!
